Your quarter logic is 1/2 faulty. If you roll in the direction the quarter is in, it will not provide warning.

Yep: only the first turn on a NASCAR track has a 50% chance of a warning; all subsequent turns will go unprotected. An important flaw that should be considered when filing the patent :-)

I'm considering myself lucky not to live in a harder-hit country that has full quarantine - that would be hard to take.

Aside from that, life's really not too different here. The hoarders must feel fully stocked up, because TP has started reappearing on the store shelves! I was actually down to 2 spare rolls.

We had dozens of rolls for the three of us and Mom had me buy more. I still pick up packages when I actually see them, but it is not common.

I gave a $17 package to the mom of a client who then wanted to do teletherapy.

I went to Safeway right when they opened at 6 am and they did not have any, so I guess they did not receive toilet paper the night before.

I do not understand why I keep seeing ads for toilet paper. We are going to buy everything they make immediately. Why waste the money?

Back during the fuel crisis of '72(?) Once I left a city, I could buy all the fuel I needed dirt cheap during my transfer to Chanute AFB. Prolly the same thing with TP

I would love to go back and see how the area changed after 50 years.

Testing the COVID-19 waters...

I spent a good chunk of time de-modding & cleaning up the car in the past week or so. Hey - more free time on my hands these days.

Since the car will never be this neat & tidy again, I decided to test the used car market under lockdown. (I'd prefer a base model Mirage anyway.)

So I did a photoshoot on Sunday. Beauty shots! Here are a few.

Since I have zero actual need to sell it, my asking price is a little "aspirational", so we'll see what happens. I'm testing the theory that with Ontario car dealers currently closed, if anybody really needs a car, they're going to be shopping the private sales.

And a low end car that looks that good can command a premium while still being cheaper than some random beater.

I guess we'll see. I've only had one inquiry so far (ad's been up for 2 days), and it's likely just a scammer (asking about methods to send me money).

In my experience, more people check the car ads at the end of the week, which makes sense if you're working and you need to set aside time to kick tires on the weekend.
