My walls start curving inward 54" above the floor. So nothing hangs, you'd have to duct tape it.
I do have one framed piece, sort of low behind the rocking chair; Frank Frazetta's Golden Galleon:

Freebeard, do you have the usual car posters in the garage ? What about sports posters .
I'm just trying to see what is popular. At my job, they sell lots of sports team posters, and 'quotes' like this one ( which I would think are more popular for women ) :

Sports is anathema to me.
I did have a poster hanging in the garage last time I had a garage. It's now hanging in the garage of the house my son bought a year ago.
I've called in a favor, and when he emails a photo of it I'll post it here. It will be worth the wait.
Edit: I double checked that we're in The Lounge and here it is:

I have blocked Facebook and other sites or pages when I allowed them to take up too much of my time, even this site, which is my favorite. I had blocked Twitter, I did not want to see content in my news feed that is not allowed on Facebook, but I got on yesterday, trying to promote our bakery.

I have pictures of Metros taken from AutoTrader back when it was in print.
It has been years since I considered where I lived to be "home" and tried to make it home. I have one picture up on my wall, it is probably the safest place for it. My ex gave me a small religious picture that I never mounted and it finally fell and broke.
Sorry, Jesus!

I asked - the artist I know got a local techie to make a site which she updates herself and doesn't really get much support for except when the hosting / registration bill comes around - which is not great.
She is also pondering a move to Wordpress or some similar platform instead.

Getting started it would much easier if you could just add your works to an existing site. In the photography world there are many such sites. Some of these sites even allow you to link from your own site.
If you do a web search for say "buy art online from artist" it may turn up some prospects.
Like this Art gallery, sell art free, art community for artists | Foundmyself. Any prospects would need to be checked out before signing up.

I bought a domain name, and created a Blogger page. I'd like a page that is full width without the blank borders on each side.
I've had the blog for years now, and used a Cincopa template. It made the page go full screen ( pictures displayed edge to edge ) but was really slow to load.
Their site templates look great, but are just too slow to load for me.
The template that I was using originally was a Flash template and wouldn't even pull up on my cell phone, so that's a no-go.
Still using Cincopa, I switched to a basic template with no fancy animation to it.
The problem is that it shows up small and in the middle of the page.
I tried some other templates, such as one from Sora. I followed the directions to a 'T' and still couldn't get it to display correctly.
My last resort is to ask for help here on EM ( I already tried to email both Sora and Cincopa, but with the holiday and the weekend, it's understandable that they would not be answering email. )
I have been working on this for around 12 hours now.
I also looked at wordpress and may create a site there. They want crazy money for their templates, and most likely charge crazy money to use my own domain name.
I found that to be the case with Wix.
Thanks guys.
I'm embarrassed to have you guys see my "art " ( girly man art - brightly colored pet portraits ) , but here is the site

Are we talking about the thumbnail page? Because the pictures appear in pop-ups.
Well it's easy enough to see when you View Source
Code:
--></style>
<style id='template-skin-1' type='text/css'><!--
body {
min-width: 960px;
}
.column-center-outer {
margin-top: 46px;
}
.content-outer, .content-fauxcolumn-outer, .region-inner {
min-width: 960px;
max-width: 960px;
_width: 960px;
}
.main-inner .columns {
padding-left: 0;
padding-right: 310px;
}
.main-inner .fauxcolumn-center-outer {
left: 0;
right: 310px;
/* IE6 does not respect left and right together */
_width: expression(this.parentNode.offsetWidth -
parseInt("0") -
parseInt("310px") + 'px');
}
.main-inner .fauxcolumn-left-outer {
width: 0;
}
.main-inner .fauxcolumn-right-outer {
width: 310px;
}
.main-inner .column-left-outer {
width: 0;
right: 100%;
margin-left: -0;
}
.main-inner .column-right-outer {
width: 310px;
margin-right: -310px;
}
#layout {
min-width: 0;
}
#layout .content-outer {
min-width: 0;
width: 800px;
}
#layout .region-inner {
min-width: 0;
width: auto;
}
--></style>
min-width: 960px;
max-width: 960px;
The fauxcolumn thing is centering one div inside a containing div. Fixing it in HTML would be easy but I don't know how to control Blogger or do a man-in-the-middle attack on it's output.
What you might do is go to Smashing Magazine and search on Blogger, which is equivalent to just clicking this link:
Search Results - Smashing Magazine
...and see if anything jumps out at you.
Edit: Blogger uses WordPress, right? Maybe
http://www.smashingmagazine.com/tag/techniques-wp/
...would be more to the point. I looked at your page again and now it loads a column only two thumbnails wide that laps over the footer. In two different browsers—Seamonkey and Chrome. Weird.
