I don't have much opinion, so I went to Google and searched on 'transferable discount coupon'. I didn't find much, so I tried 'self crowdfunding' and saw more result.

So you've got 2 weeks to set the whole thing up and throw the switch?

I'm a software engineer, my last job was a telemedicine web app.
A crowdfunding web app looks pretty simple, goteo.org has open source php for it.

They put a TON of work into it, but ultimately I think it was de-railed by ... the apperance of relatively affordable OEM EV's (Nissan Leaf, etc).

If you like aero styling, it was a stunner.

The Sunrise EV2 Project

The Sunrise2 was doomed from the start, evidenced by very low levels of support from other EVDL members. Suffice it to say, the project leader was extremely conversant but has a track record of dead ends.....

It looks good, maybe the black logo could be upsized compared to the rest of the banner. It doesn't scale well when you zoom in.

I'm not in a position to join the cause, but good luck with it. I like the campaign stripes.

I really don't expect anyone from ecomodder to help fund my effort.
But I could really use help getting the word out to other people, places, websites, etc, which doesn't cost a nickle.
If you think more aerodynamic cars are worthwhile.

Is there supposed to be a video of the car on the crowdfunding page? I see the following over the top image:

No video with supported format and MIME type found.

"No video with supported format" indicates you don't support the format of the video. The tech support joke is just repeat the error message, and then the customer says 'oh, ok I see'.

What browser/OS do you have? The video is H.264/MP4 format.
I could put up a Flash format video for older browsers, but the stats indicate this is about 2% of all visitors.
