how I attached mine, should not have any problem with wheel flex as it mounts to the middle of the wheel.

I gave up on the stainless steel copies for the T-100 and went with 1970s GM stainless knock-on covers. They're a bugger to get installed but don't make a peep and stay 'glued' to the rims.
Perhaps some steel wheels are more robust than ones I've lived with. All of mine deform as they roll, stressing the covers.
Glad you're having better service than I.

Oh, mine make noise. They go click-click-click as they rotate, and have since day one. But they are tight and take a good effort to install or remove. So, I haven't lost one yet, but who knows how long it will last for.
We don't get cold enough to salt the roads here, so rust is typically not a big issue in spite of all the rain.

I've had my genuine Moons for about 1500 miles so far. Mine have a tendency to 'walk' out but they seem to have settled about 1/4" away from the wheel lip. For the first few days I kept pushing them back every day or two, but now I give them a push back on when I wash the car just to make sure.
My 15's make noise, but the 13's on the Suzuki don't. The amazing thing is they even creak when I get in or out of the car (75kg here)! I plan on eventually welding tabs to the wheels and using Dzus fasteners into them.

have you held stainless moons? wonder what the difference in weight is.
i would like a few more pics of your process and would be interested in getting a set.

i was thinking of drilling small holes on the lip, run tie wire in a cross pattern. would be a pain to remove though.
BTW, emailed the seller and asked what 1 cap would cost and that i had lost one. he responded, said he was sending me a replacement on his coin. wow, hard to find vendors like that these days.

Renault rims don't seem to pop up at the wreckers very often here.

i think using a mig, relieve all air pressure, stitch weld would be ok. i have some heat isolation paste i could use also.

Do you guys think cutting out a circular piece of magnetic sign material would stay on stock steel wheels? Hearing about screwed on ones falling off makes me wonder. Best variable is the magnetic material being less affected by balancing issues I think.

there have been ones that had rare earth magnets fall off so i doubt sign material would hold. a lot of force is applied in a bunch of diff areas that try to force them off.
