There was a rumor I heard about 30 years ago that some new form of tailfin was about to flood the showroom floors.
Turned out it was those drag causing trunk lid wings and spoilers we saw so much of in the late 1980's.
Things do come back in fashion, never quite the same way twice though.

2017 Mercedes Benz presents the Maybach 6 Cabriolet, the droptop version of Vision Maybach. In the homage to classic personal luxury aesthetic of aero coupes; long hood, low roof line, smooth rearward greenhouse tapering to a boattail. Maybach 6, measures six meters in length, designed as an EV. The drive system has an output of 550 kW (750 hp). The smooth shallow underfloor battery allows a range of over 200 miles.

The 2016 Vision 6 had a Length-to-height ratio of 4.290.
Jaray's Cd 0.13, 1922 pumpkin seed was only 4.006.
I don't know what the crowd's reaction to the Maybach was,but I'd like to know.
