Gosh, that is the first evidence I've ever seen that NASA ever had a "car guy" on staff. All their other vehicles look like the product of people who have never seen a land vehicle before. I saw a copy of the Lunar Rover, and any racing bike mechanic could have taken kilos off it with ease.
The ISS does have a separate frame, like an American pickup truck, instead of being all-monocoque like an airliner, and it weighs seven tons.

Big picture, but here's the 'birdcage' frame that was inside a mahogany hull made by a glider manufacturer down the road. Story is in the link.
What about their F-250 Trunnel?

Lightyear 0 Nears Production, but Who Is It For?

This (see first picture) seems like quite an achievement for a sedan that looks like it could be a Chevy or Honda.
I don't know if this (see second picture) is suggesting that there's something special about the airflow underneath the car.

I doubt that these cars have efficient drag coefficients because the main goal for the cars seems to be to drive as quickly and/or as fast as possible.

The IVE shares similarity with Eindhoven University's 2017, Stella VIE, of which all Eindhoven would volunteer was that, it's drag was 'below' Cd 0.137 ( Ford Probe-V, GM EV1 LSR, SolarWorld GT ).

I looked some, and I didn't find a Cd nor A value. I wish that it was a requirement for them to test and publish the results for the solar cars.

Here's a story from 2015 on a 3D printed car by Local Motors. https://newatlas.com/local-motors-lm...ted-car/40204/
What I found interesting is that they accomodate two use cases with a single rollerskate with swapable front and rear sections. Off-road, and street.

This is from 2013. How [does it] come [to pass] we never got anything like this. The Clarity was really watered down and only lasted a year. ....and it didn't even have fender skirts.

'Clarity'
I believe that the Honda FCX Clarity, Cd 0.25, came out in 2010.
In 2013, Honda did an AC-X Plug-In, which I've never seen numbers published for. It's an AST-III aft-body, 12.5-degree rear tangent angle, 42% aft-body ( 2004 Honda IMAS, 2012 Insight-II, and 1988 Honda CIVIC CRX HF ).
