From a link on the Edison2 car, looks like the designer responsible for the current VLC v4 also has a trailer concept :

Very much like the Airstream BaseCamp.
Here's a story about a guy that rolls a human/plugin-solar electic hybrid,'cause if you're clinically dead you can't drive a car for 6 months and he's been dead so many times it stopped seeming like a good idea.

Nah.
It's dead cheap for what it is.
Get a price quote for a Dutch or Danish velomobile - even without electric assist - and you'll get to appreciate the ELFs price more

You'll need a motor to haul that big green thing around, the aerodynamics suck.

At 20 mph max legal speed aero is not the main concern. This is a tricycle, not a car. Lightness is the key.

That makes it aerodynamically UNinteresting. Ever try riding your bike at 20mph?

I didn't see the base price, but the available options total USD3000.

It has a motor. It just doesn't [apparently] have any suspension. I'll bet the rattling and shaking noises would put me off more than the ride.

When I was fit I could maintain that speed average for 3 hours on end. So, yes.
I can no longer sit on a racing bike saddle without agony so those days are over.
The Elf has better aero than a unfaired bicyclist but a larger frontal surface so I think it more or less evens out. Add electric support then maintaining 20 mph should be at leisure.

Gran Turismo 6 won't be released until December 6, but enthusiasts can get an up close and personal look at a super sports cars featured in the video game at the 2013 Los Angeles auto show. Mercedes-Benz has built the AMG Vision Gran Turismo, and from the photos, the concept looks absolutely stunning.

It's got the same aerodynamic disadvantage as my VW Beetle, fat fenders and running boards. Compare the Rosenmeyer Concept from Audi:
