Question JDM VTEC-E swap, HELP!!!

It's been a long road but I've got all the right bits put on my JDM motor; exhaust manifold, EGR valve, solenoid and constant vacuum valve, P07 computer, used 5 wire O2 sensor, but I kept getting a code 48 (LAF sensor) engine light, so I bought a brand new, 5 wire, wide band sensor, disconnected the battery to reset the computer and it STILL came back. The engine light was on for 8 months when I had the P07 computer hooked up with the CX 4 wire O2 sensor, before I got the wiring together.
I do seem to be getting better mileage but my speedo jumps and doesn't work sometimes and doesn't record mileage when that's happening. Could it be a dash problem?

VSS in the trans are famous for going bad. also, look for the connector which hooks to the VSS - they get corroded as well.

as for the CEL, you probably don't have the O2 sensor wired correctly. triple check.

Do you have VTEC-E computer for engine management? I suspect different versions of that logic for CA vs. 49 state and standard vs. auto trans vs. CVT.

I did take the connector apart and clean it, it did look dirty, and put it back together with electric grease, it seemed to work better at first then it went back to it's old ways. Probably will change it now.
i'll check O2 sensor the wiring again.

I do have the PO7-01, which is the right computer, but I need to recheck the wiring.
Also the EGR solenoid is not the original 92-95 VX one.

Thanks for the advice
