Cripes, it scares me that I got that as soon as I saw it!
How's about this little gem?

Right make, wrong model. Hint, it was GM's attempt at aero in a sedan in the mid '80s.

Ah ha, Pontiac Gran Prix, 2+2 to be exact
I had to get to the bottom of it, it looked so very familiar.

You are correct sir. I know where there is one for sale, and I must admit I have visions of it slammed with a 6.2 diesel in it. I need professional help I think!

its rare War Wagon, I found this tidbit of info: 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix 2+2. is powered by a 305 cubic inch V8. It was Pontiac's answer to the Nascar wars in the 1980's. The 2+2 package included aero rear window, custom front nose, dual exhaust, and a bigger carburetor. Pontiac produced 1118 and only made it for one year.
With numbers that low this car would be worth restoring, then selling..

A quick interlude before the serious pics start later, who can name the maker of these excellent competition cars from the early postwar period ? They were produced in England.
For a bonus, can you name the unusual surplus materials used to construct the chassis?

There's also the Monte Carlo Aerocoupe
6000+ made in 1987, but only 200 in 1986. The 1986 has certainly acheived collector status.
