If you want to smuggle in a deviant definition of hybrid, then that isn't very "light". I do not know what you mean by hybrid and cannot answer the question without undue effort as a result. Not fun.

This one pertains to vehicles:
"A hybrid vehicle is a vehicle that uses two or more distinct power sources to move the vehicle"
Hybrid vehicle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Since you cannot answer a simple clarifying question though, this stopped being fun a while ago.
BOOOOOOOONNNNNGGG!!!!!

I am merely asking for clarification on your use of the term "hybrid" since there is some confusion about it. Why can you not say in plain English if it has batteries on board or not? Is there some pride involved here or something? Because if you think you have already answered that question, I assure you that you haven't.

Nice.
But how did the wheels turn ?
There doesn't seem to be a hinged panel, yet the wheel seems too close to the side to allow for normal steering angles.

Porsche.
1898
The Austrian Dr. Ferdinand Porsche, at age 23, built his first car, the Lohner Electric Chaise. It was the world's first front-wheel-drive. Porsche's second car was a hybrid, using an internal combustion engine to spin a generator that provided power to electric motors located in the wheel hubs. On battery alone, the car could travel nearly 40 miles.

There isn't any confusion at all.
If you don't know the answer, it's ok.
If you knew the answer to what I asked, you would have an answer to your question.
Ain't tellin'...............hehehehehehe.
Besides........I have no shame.

That was an excellent answer.............BUT
BOOOOOOOONNG ( BIG X )
So sorry, that was not what we were looking for.
We are looking for something on the US side of the ocean and remember it was made in Chicago.
Looks like I picked a good question to ask.
I'll drop another hint: These vehicles had a lot in common with cows.
