Kansas Halts Tax Refunds

The State of Kansas is halting tax refunds for now. If they're late, can I charge them penalty and interest?

Seriously, they want us to pay them with a credit card if we owe. Why can't they???

I can't get away from that mell of hess they call State Government. I moved to Missouri, but my office moved to Kansas.

Most States are facing deficits, but cannot go in the red due to budget regulations. What is your State/Province doing about it?

California is giving us IOU's. From what I've heard, this has happened in the past, and interest was paid.

I had thought to California first when I heard of it. I hadn't heard if they were doing the same. Good info that they paid interest.

Honestly, I usually owe Kansas and get a bit back from MO, so it might not even effect me, but I'm just upset for the Citizenry -- especially right now.
