how did you do the starter? so you no longer need a key to start it?

Yeah; I could have wired it to require the key, but it would have required twice the length of wire. I'll draw up a diagram and put it up here in a few minutes.

Welcome to the site. Thats a nice blog you got going there. Are you going to start off doing things right away, or are you going to establish a baseline before changing driving habits and doing mods?

I'm doing the baseline right now. It sucks, because I don't have anywhere to drive (off work for the summer, and I bike everywhere I can) and now I actually have time to do stuff!

I think I'm going to work on getting materials ready for what I can now... I can make my belly pan and wheel skirts and remove them now, and when I'm ready I can slap 'em on.

I wish I could talk my wife into driving the car; she drives 40 miles each way to work daily.
