Hi Binky - welcome to the forum.

Of course you realize that returns on aero mods won't net you as much at urban speeds as on the open road, but may still be worth pursuing.

In city driving, adjusting the nut behind the wheel is where you'll find the biggest gains.

cheers-
Darin

Mad Nissan MPVish

Hi Darin

I suspect that having a pair of trash can lids on either side will do damage to MPG even at urban speeds !

That and removing the ariel might give me one mpg if I lucky!!!,

Not much else I can do at this point as funds are shorter than a hamsters legs!

Mike

What are Isle of Wight winter temps like? Probably derive greater benefit from a grille block than from mirror delete in urban setting at this time of year?

Hi TestDrive
Winter temps around the 0 to minus 5 deg Cen, Not sure how much of a difference a grille block would make as engine is mid mount under drivers seats!, (nice an warm in cold weather) will try some out and see if it makes a difference!, Will also post some picc's so you know what I is working on, for now if you take a brick add 4 wheels an a couple of trash cans, you just about got my Birtha!!!
Cheers Mike
