METRO now MAKING me money!
SEE JR Executive fuel log for whole story...... heres an excerpt.
"18928 miles so far. Add savings for premium fuel that I use for Frontier. I have forgotten to include this from day one. I will conservatively say its a .03cents difference .....thats $567.84 more saved alone.
I purchased a pair of tires also for 100$ from Caruso so that is 467.84+31.87 from this tank. 499.71 saved
so far car has MADE me +257.57.....NICE"

Nothing beats a Metro for mileage! All the repairs I had to do to mine were already repaid in fuel savings. Now I am just reaping in the benefits.

MAKING money by driving? Sounds like government accounting.

I think it's more from popular advertising than anything else. The whole "save money on our n-day sale" stuff, which when loosely translated to English means, "temporarily pay less for our junk". From that, we get the whole "saving=paying less=making money" as opposed to "saving=accumulating money for some purpose". At least IMO.

My company pays 80¢/mi for travel, so in some occasions I'm definitely making money just for driving.
