Ignore previous query. It looks like first generation Miata rear calipers will work fine. Doh, you'd think I'd have looked before troubling y'all, it's not like I don't have enough Miata parts laying around. Swift GTi rear calipers are just the thing, but they're so rare, I need a substitute if I'm going to make these cars as kits.

I was thinking maybe Miata... turns out from the last time I looked at them, that quite a few rear rotors fit within a small range of thickness/diameters, and using combinations of pad/rotor/caliper you can make some weird combinations work together seamlessly in the bigger picture.
