Mobil1 Advanced Fuel Economy oil really does work

i did a few oil changes with some mobile1 advanced fuel economy on my aveo. well last oil change, i used just plain mobile1. ive noticed a big drop in my mpg.
i was getting around 31-32.5 mpg.
now i was getting 25-27 mpg.
i just changed my oil yesterday back to the advanced fuel economy and im already noticing a big increase in my mpg. when this tank is empty, well find out what ive got.

I don't see anything in the gaslog to support that assertion... unless you changed the oil after only one month starting 12/17... and why would you do that with that few miles? It doesn't make sense to me

I run mobile 1 SUV and change the oil every 10K, changing oil every 3k with synthetics is a waste of money and resources.

I run about 10k on synthetic and a WIX filter too - just have to make sure it's topped off once in awhile.

Americasfuture - I will be anxious to see if the next few tanks come up. Winter temps should still be the same as your last few.

Same viscosity oil, synth or dino, are within 5% FE one to another. And I'm being generous.
