MPGuino Buttons

I recently received a fully assembled MPGuino. There are three buttons coming out the top, soldered to the 1,2,&3 ports on the board. There is also a EXT Buttons section on the board with holes for buttons 1,2,&3 as well as a common ground.

My question, if I wanted to have remotely mounted buttons, would it be better to desolder and resolder the current buttons, or use the EXT Button holes? I think I am going to mount it inside my instrument cluster, so I'll need the remote buttons...

IMHO it's better to use EXT button and some buttons that will fit the place you want to put them best.
