The engine balancing shop i took my parts to when i rebuilt the engine said that on a 4 stroke 3 cylinder it can be balanced to be smooth at low rpms or high rpms. so since i'm after fuel economy i chose low rpms and it idles completely smooth. best 150 i spent on my car so far.

I hate to say it, but if you're going to set up a welding repair shop, you'll want to check into legal issues and write a disclaimer. It's rather unfortunate, but there's always a guy who'll have an issue and blame it on you.

Sad but true, Topher.

My brother worked for a shop for a while - the owner said: if anyone brings in a vehicle to weld (or a trailer), the answer is "no".
