Quick update.
Fixed some of the panel gaps a few days ago
Started working on the new driver's side mirror(first time using a plastic welder, I'm interested to see how it holds up)
Removed all the extra gauges and tach from the dash
Switched the Scangauge with an Ultra-gauge
Removed 90 percent of the A/C, should be able finish it before the weekend

Made a 267 mile trip down to Indiana this last weekend.
Since I brought the car up to MI I have had it sitting for a while as I did a PS and AC delete so I finally decided to see what she could do.
I did not use any hypermiling while on the highway, just set the cruise at 65mph. While in town I just used some DWL and DWB.
I was pleasently surprised when I filled up on my way back and got 42.1mpg. Granted my Ultra-gauge has not been calibrated and I didn't fill to the lip of the fuel tube(just went till it clicked). The UG also read 42.1 which I found odd because the one on my PT Cruiser always reads 2-4mpg high.
My 50mpg goal is not far off, and I still have smooth wheel covers and killswitch to install!!!

Good, another 7th gen Civic. Vman455 is averaging almost 50mpg with his EX (Still has the D17A2) and you can see where I'm at. Both of us run full moons. The SGC has converted his '01 EX to electric.
Post here if you figure out a kill switch without tripping the immobilizer:

Those parts look good. You made the driver's side mirror replacement?

Yeah. I wasn't happy with the size of the mirror so I decided to go with a slightly larger one.
