Do you have clouds?
I have a tree I can cut down that starts to shade panels around 630. Might get me another kwh. It will definitely get me some fire wood.

On my best day, I was generating 1400 watts at 6:30pm with a rapid decline from there. Most days are about 400 watts at that time.

I'm looking around on ebay to buy solar panel tilt kits to put the panels along the north edge. It's 6 panels out of 30.
Looks like the optimal year round tilt for Albuquerque is 35 degrees. So crank'em up as high was they will go in winter and lay them down as low as they will go on summer.
Really any south tilt would help.

Glad someone is doing it. My brother has a large system in central Washington, but in the western part we get too many clouds, and I have too many trees too.

Let's see...
Such things are over priced here, north of the border.
Then add on that we get about the same amount of sunlight at the Washington guys...
And the final nail in the coffin? our electricity (simply called "Hydro" as it's always called in our province) is pretty cheap at 10c (canadian) per KWH...
Such a system would never pay for itself. Saddens me.
Can't even make an excuse that I'd be saving the planet, since we don't have any fossil-burning power plants as far as I know.

If I paid off the solar loan in the prescribed 12 years it would likely never pay for it's self. Hopefully the virtue signaling activists who will force other people to virtue signal never get in charge of the energy industry.

Well late September power production is down about 27% kwh and peak power is down about 10% from the summer peak.

I was down about 90% during the fires. Smoke so thick you couldn't locate the sun at noon on an otherwise clear day.

Could have been worse huh? Could have been my house burning I thought as I whined about the smoke blocking the sun.

Everything can always be worse. I never complain except with regards to uncritical thinking or irrational behavior.
