...likewise, the Marine's AV8-B Harrier also uses water-alcohol injection for "boosts" of power during vertical takeoff and ladened hover. And, the distilled water is actually "made" for them aboard their transport carriers with specially marked fittings on the flight decks!

...my Mom lives not far from MCAS Yuma, where the Harrier squadrons train and boy are they noisey when they practice vertical takeoffs & hovers during the heat of summer days!

The B52 used like almost 3500 gallons of water to get off the runway...
Water injection on a major scale! the tank had no lid it was designed to vent the water off as it climbed to drop weight before refueling in the air.

Everybody knows HHO is BS. We don't need to bring this thread back from the dead to hash it out yet again. Move on.

The thing of this I would like to see published and documented would be modifying your ECU/ECM code to lean your motor toward stoich once in you cruising area.

I see many sites claiming to discuss it and a few with free software but really there isn't any real help to guide people into ECU modification.

I would love to lean out my parents 93 350 Suburban but can't find the amount of information I would like on the endevour.

Same is true of the OBDII vehicles like our Buick and my Dodge v8.

Apparently the ECU can change shift points, lockup and mix on most vehicles, providing a means for the masses to do this more easily would be an excellent ecomodding diy addition.

Anyone have any tips on how to redue a 93 350gas suburban ECU to lean out once up to cruising speed like its euro cousins? Same thing on that 98 3800 buick, Many motors actually are not setup to approach even stoich most of the time, I would estimate for ecomodding purposes moving toward stoich especially at the steady state areas would help FE greatly.

Any comments?

Your describing a Mega Squirt or a Custom flash for a Motec or Electromotive system.

Just $$ away...

Until God repeals the laws of thermodynamics, I won't buy an on-board hydrogen generator system.
Let me offer this again: I'll help someone design a safe and effective way to meter in H2 from a bottle free of charge. If practical, I'll help you test the results. If it shows a net power output that is equal to more than the fuel value of the hydrogen (ie, hydrogen injected alongside gasoline), then I'd say you had something worthwhile. I'll even assign all rights to the design over to you.

...just for clarification: hydrogen gas (H2) is not the same as water vapor (H20).

Mythbusters most certainly DOES SUCK, if you want real solid data. They are after all for entertainment, there are many times where they come to the right conclusion for completely WRONG reasons. They also have botched how they test things more than a few times, so I don't take any of their credance worth a grain of salt.

They remind me of the so called "Numbers" show, complete fluff. They pretend to do correct and meaningfull tests while not really doing anything of real significance.
