Need clear pictures of your car's underside?

Are you thinking about making an undertray for your car but need that extra encouragement? Tell me what car to look for, and i'll snap a few pictures for you.

I finally got a car related job, and my workplace has lifts, so I get to see the undersides of lots of cars. If you want good pictures of the underside of your car/specific areas, just ask here. Thanks to work, my cars driven list is getting a lot bigger. And i had a few firsts as far as engine configurations as well: First inline 6, first v10, first boxer, and first diesel all thanks to work.

Here are some interesting undertrays I found:

I also doing my part to reduce the fuel consumption of others by making sure their tires are aired up (shop policy is 35 PSI, unless door says higher) and zip-tying up loose undertray panels.

How about a 2000± Honda Accord V6 by the rear bumper? Would a belly pan help? Sorry to ask this, but I'm handicapped and can't get down to look.

I'll keep an eye out for one. It may take a week or two since we don't get much older cars.

Sorry it took so long, I never ended up getting an accord v6 of your generation on a lift, but did find a car very similar, a 1999-2003 Acura TL. I'm not working there right now because i'm at school, so I can't get any more pictures right now. I wish I took pictures of the more popular eco cars like the prius, leaf, and earlier civics. From memory, the second-gen prius really doesn't look like they tried to make it aero underneath or in the grille/radiator area.

The major difference between the rear of my v6 and your v6 is that the Y pipe where it splits to the dual exhausts points out/down in your car. I believe the 6th gen V6 accord like yours sticks down even more than this TL does.

Good thread idea. Here are mine, taken while muffler was be welded/replaced (so muffler missing).

Suspension hangs really low in the back:

Parachute rear bumper cover (with great angle and mounting points, however:

I was surprised how well aligned the middle panels were, but for the muffler trench:

AND for comparison:

2012 Civic Hybrid (closer to my car than I expected):

2016 Mercedes CLA 250 (VERY thorogh!):
