Need help from "the electronics guys"

My Toyota Matrix has hall effect VSS that gives the ECM a digital signal. What sort of circuit/chip will I need to take this 0/1 frequency and turn it into an analog voltage that changes with vehicle speed for my specific use? I need an analog vehicle speed signal for my torque convertor lockup bypass device.

If I can't get this to work, I may steal a signal from an ABS wheel sensor (AC) and rectify it to get a voltage that changes with vehicle speed.

Thanks in advance.

James

Why do you need an analog voltage?

What you need is a frequency to voltage converter. Also known as a V to F converter through Google I get LM2917 from national semi, available I bet through Digikey (Digikey.com) in ones and twos to civilians.
