Neon bumper (not 56k freindly)

I have been looking at the front of the neon for the first step in improving aerodynamics. right now it has a Xenon front bumper (I have the whole body kit, the previous owner stuck it on with 3m tape so the skirts and rear lip came off when it started detaching.

Would I be better off keeping that bumper and doing a grill block or switching to the stock bumper with grill block and a lip of some sort.

or upgrading to the newer style with grill block and a lip

and my next question, should I use the side skirts?
this is kinda dark but the only shots with out the skirts.

and with them
(that pic has the old wheels, I am using the stock size now.

and rear bumper with the lip

I'd try to sell the body kit locally for cash, then go back to the stock (newer one looks slightly better) bumper cover and work from there with grill blocks and lips.

I vote for the 03-05 bumper cover! Looks the most aero friendly to my eye.

As for the side skirts, I'd try some coast down tests to see if they have any effect. If they add to the ability to coast, I'd keep them.

agree with above

the side skirts could slightly be helping air get smoothly (or smoother) around the rear wheels, but they and probably also negatively affecting airflow after the front wheels. It could be a draw and make no difference

The new bumper looks the most aerodynamic, but the one you have has a built in air dam, so maybe you should stick with it.
