Congrats Alvaro
During last rains I had the feeling my car had flat tires, so P&G was more difficult :-(
Hope rain will not endanger you.
Have fun,
Denis.

Rain? Endanger?
Anyway, it had already stopped when I went home after midnight. It not only stopped, but there was so strong wind that it almost completely dried the road in a few hours. OTOH it was annoyingly strong and hectic and ruined quite a few of my glides too... head&crosswind, the worst kind of them

I'd like to start a Team Subaru, but when I submit the "Create New Team" form, I get an error:

This week I drove my average down quite a bit
I had a ~500km 2-up trip across Hungary (I had a lot of these last year because of family and official matters), and we got everything April could dump on us, strong head/crosswind, rain, hailstorm, cold spots where my hands almost froze in my already soaking wet gloves... it couldn't spoil the first tank too much (it became 3.02l/100km = 77.9mpgUS), but for the second one that fell entirely into this trip I got a shameful 3.53l/100km = 66.6mpgUS, the worst this year so far Sorry, guys - I've done what had to be done.
The trip extended to a 3rd tank too which is yet unknown, but at least that leg contained hilly backroads where I do much better (P&G, DWL, some FAS) than on main roads where you just have to do the speed limit if you don't want to be much slower than the rest...

Alvaro, I would like to have 66.6mpg as my worst tank. Last year I had to drive several highway trips for work and did worse than 55.5 (4.2L/100)
1st Spring tank : 1119.1mi @ 69.35mpg - 1800.7km @ 3.392L/100.
Sadly lower than the previous 70.18mpg - 3.352L/100
Considering the 2 hours of stop&go traffic during last 2 weeks, which should be at least 1.2L (0.32gal) wasted, it would have been 70.73mpg.
At least I found that my 60L (15.85gal) tank contains at least 61.08L (16.14gal)...
I have 2 tanks (I may not have sufficient mileage before end of June as in May I will have to work during 3 weeks in Paris) to beat my 1902.1km - 1182.2mi tank.
Have fun,
Denis.

The new tank has only ~50km of that 2-up trip, the rest was in dry and calm weather. Mornings are still cool, but afternoons are really warm (20+C). All in all, I'm under 3l again - 2.97 is the last tank (some 79.1mpg or so).
Teresa is over 70.000 km (by odo, a bit more irl), so we had the next periodic maintenance this week. The most significant change: she got new tires (heidenau k73). Which brought up another question about the distances. I may have to correct my tripmeter data. An example, my short commute route according to...
Ciliegia: 24.9-25.0km
Google maps: 24.8km
Teresa+Metzeler Z6: 24.6km
Teresa+Heidenau K73: 24.4km
Now what?
One more note: I'm thinking about making something like a bumper sticker, not to be seen while riding, just to show my dedication to efficiency. I have a concept and I plan to realize it with shiNIN's help (because I can't draw). It'll be, well, ****ed up For real.
