Sorry, 3rd winter kilo tank in a row :
1100.7mi @ 70.15mpg with a POE (% over EPA) @ +99.9%
My 3 months POE is @ +87.5%
I want my 3L/100 (78.4 mpg & +123%)
Have fun,
Denis.

Somebody's gotta stop him! He's almost as good as MetroMPG (87.5% vs 90.5% over EPA).
Good job Denis

And my 65.8MPG is better than jpstaub's Insight 1G (65.4MPG) and basjoos's AerocivicLB (65.5MPG)
But as soon as they'll get better weather they'll let me far behind them
Have fun,
Denis.

The motorcycles are still in the garage being modified until the six foot deep snow drift melts and blows away to rain on some prairie farmers field east of here. If the weather man is to be believed then next weeks 10*C temperature should get the job done and I can make short test runs in the afternoon. If things go according to plan/wishfull thinking, I should be in the 80 - 90 mpg zone and 50% above epa for the GS500.

Had a good week as far as mpg goes. 51-ish mpg tanks these days.
Once I get past Apr. 26 I should be at better than 50% over EPA for my 90-day averages. That's when the old 35 mpg tanks will drop off my 90 day avg., from before the head rebuild.
Somebody rear ended my car this past Tues. but I think it raised my average. She pushed me forward a bit, right? Shop should be replacing the bumper cover this week, and I seem to be OK.

And YES! I reached the first sub-3l tank of this year!
We had no frost this week at all, and minimal rain, so the circumstances are better now.
The average became 2.99l/100km(78.7mpgUS).

Congrats Alvaro
Are you driving like this guy on his moped ?
Speed excepted of course...
Gonna have my 3L/100 - 2000km (78.4mpg - 1243mi) tank too this summer.
Have fun,
Denis.

Not exactly, though I must admit that I often emulate speed bike riding when gliding to fight aero drag. It feels pretty awkward with the wide handlebar but if I do it right I really get a bit longer glide (especially above 60-70km/h)

Finished another tank today: low fuel light came out at 375km, which means 2.96l/100km = 79.6mpgUS - some more improvement (there's a lot of room, of course). We had really nice, spring weather this week while went around searching for a place to build our house. It included 1-up and 2-up rides, and several kms of unpaved "roads" too.
Now we got rain, I'm curious how it will affect the next one.
