So I did it wrong....I am introducing myself AFTER buying a Scanguage. Been lurking long time & driving a Toyota Corolla in the foreign country of Texas (land of ignorance & huge trucks). Oldest son is getting Corolla so I bought a 2001 Echo (25% lower fuel bill now). Really looking at ways to increase MPG easily....already at 42 mpg...My name is Shad & I welcome all comments, suggestions, and reprimands with technical words included....Happy to be here!

The "get a SG or equivalent" advice is one of the first things I usually offer to new members. Now I'm at a loss for what to say. So how about: "way to throw us off kilter!"

Thanks, eh. Used to have a 93 metro but found I was not able to live with it on my 40 mile each way commute.....great MPG though....Thanks for the welcome my neighbor to the north....S

Welcome. Tire pressure, check your air filter, check your spark plugs, consider synthetic oil at your next oil change. Once you get used to driving it you can science it out better to suit your driving needs, but those are a good start.
