1) My experience has been that you've never produced any 'scientific' evidence of failure on the part of the scientific community to 'prove' global climate change.
2) You have shared 'pseudo-scientific propaganda' which is aligned with climate denial.
3) I've read every citation you've shared and none of S-O's reporting has stood up to the rigor of the counterfactual scientific reporting.
4) By default, you've unwittingly, or wittingly shared bogus information.
5) Therefore, I can't give S-O a pass. Kinda why it's completely dismissed by the scientific community.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) I've begun a list of scientific 'tools' NASA and their collaborators use to observe, measure, analyze, and reach conclusions from, with regard to 'any' topic they report on.
7) Anyone introduced to the 'scientific method' would 'KNOW' that S-O simply does not have the education, budget, resources, data-reduction capability, nor knowledge of the extreme statistical tools required to make heads or tails of the raw data collected by scientists.
8) An entire life-savings from Ben wouldn't pay for the cost of a single computational iteration of any of the extant global circulation models used by climate, or any other kinds of scientists.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally, I've seen enough people killed by bad 'intelligence'. I've no appetite for more.
If you're at ease sending innocents to a certain death by default, presently, you're permitted to do so.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My 'religion' doesn't allow it. Expect push-back.

Younger Dryas --?
Just wait for it to come around again on the old guitar. "You can get anything you want..."

And then again in 2014 when Arizona flooded so hard topographic maps had to be redrawn after that one flood.
Even casual observations seem to warrant the existence of catastrophism.

1) Plate tectonics is outside the boundary of climate science, although does live within the boundary of pseudo-science. I promise to summarily dismiss any mention of it.
2) If the 2014 Arizona flooding was 'historic', then it might garner special attention as an outlier ( black-swan ). 'Atmospheric rivers' are one of the phenomena predicted to increase over time, as increased evaporation follows on the heels of increasing temperature.

Then how can you not go to that other website and put him in his place? Consider it your calling.

I'll use a dog pack analogy:
1) B.D. is the 'alpha' at S-O
2) I would be an 'interloper', strutting into the 'pack' with my tail up, urinating and marking in his territory.
3) Alphas are territorial.
4) Novel, potentially 'heretical' information would threaten the hierarchy.
5) Threat of supremacy usurpation.
6) Overthrow of authority.
7) Perhaps dire economic disruption for someone without a real 'job.'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) Easiest response is to block. 'Kill'.
9) If he doesn't like what I'm doing here, he can file a lawsuit. I understand that he's fond of that ( American Bar Association 'pack-attack')
10) I'd petition for Trial by Certificate adjudication ( de Graaf vs Swammerdan ).
11) He'd be eviscerated, and incur all legal costs. Family would lose a husband and father. Hung with his own rope.

I guess the plate tectonics thing will just slide right on by.
The suggestion that you and him fight was to elicit a response. Where you went was to lawfare and Day of the Rope.

1) B.D. is reported to be law school ( statistics ) dropout.
2) I looked into his background.
3) It appears that he has a low tolerance for criticism.
4) His response appears to be lawsuits against the 'offender.'
5) I'm relying on Black's Law Dictionary, and David Wooten's 'The Invention of Science' as potential guidance.
6) My opinion is that he cannot win a case on 'facts', as he doesn't appear to be driven by 'fact,' otherwise, it would be reflected in his presentations.
7) I'm not permitted to tell you what I actually think of him.

plate tectonics
Plate tectonics is driven by internal planetary forces, of non-anthropogenic origin.
A very interesting topic in it's own right.

In any case I find the daily Space Weather reports make me feel more informed.
Right now I'm listening to Scott Adams Episode #1677
Quote:
all right here's my question
how many of the things i just mentioned
are included in climate models
do the climate models include in them
any assumptions about
co2 recycling breakthroughs
um
i'm sorry plastic recycling breakthrough
co2 farming sucking it out of the air
fusion breakthroughs
uh
ukraine war which will change everything
about energy prices i don't know which
way
or what's going to happen but it's going
to change things and then the pandemic
which of course changed commuting
patterns rather quickly etc
none of that's in there right
now
let me just say again
this is stuff that largely happened this
year
or ish right
these are gigantic variables
that just sort of popped into existence
nobody saw it coming

1) His very question belies the obvious fact that he isn't acquainted with the climate science in the least.
2) His credibility is dismissed right then and there. Bingo!
3) There's no reason to waste any more time on him.
