Err ... That'd be Imperial gallons, right ?
In MPG (US) - which is what we use here mostly - that'd be 38.3 / 39.1 .
I'd say that's still impressive for an X-trail.

Hi euromodder
Yes that is Imperial gallons, I asked JMac can you get X-Trails in the US or are they re-named, also I noticed an ad for red diesel can you use that in the US, because we can't use it on the road in the uk. Red diesel in the uk can only be used for Heavy plant i,e, diggers Bulldozers and farm iquipment

No US X-Trails
No, we don't have any X-Trails in the US. We have the X-Terra, which I'm sure is different 2011 Nissan Xterra SUV | Nissan USA Official Site
What exactly did you plug into your OBDII computer? It might be possible to search some forums and find an instrument that would work.
Also, what country do you live in? I'm curious.

Thank you very much for your input I really do appreciate it, the reason I'm looking for this program is for fault finding. A friend got hold of it and used it on his ChryslerJeep Renegade and saved himself ££££'s. unfortuneatly when he tried it on mine (Nissan) the lights flashed on the link cable but would not communicate with the ECU we can only put it down to the Jeep being american = English and the Nissan = Japanies
Thanks again

My car is a Toyota and the SG works just fine. Have you looked on the SG site to see if your car is supported?
Your friends SG might not have been set up right to work on you car, or might have needed the engine turned on and off a few times.

I'm from Indiana, USA. So, you're English then, or just living there?
That is a nice car. Reminds me of my dad's old Subaru Forester. That thing got about 30mpg with a manual transmission.

Hi JMAC
Yes it is a bit like a forester only a bit bigger and a better engine.
I've always loved the X-Trail from the very first one they made.
yes I'm a brit (Pommy) born and bred, not just passing through
Say you live in Indiana (NIce), are you urban or rural, I'm just curious how old are you, what do you do ie, job, college,
What is the price off fuel there ie, Petrol, Diesel. Over here on average Petrol £1.33p = $2.17, Diesel £1.39p = $2.27, & LPG £0.76p = $1.24
Regards

Hi Weather Spotter hope you are well
say you have a Toyota, my mrs, she has a yaris 1.3 auto briliant little car.
Yes I thought of that, that is why I'm googling a few company's to see what the recommend. There is nothing wrong with the car but to be forearmed is to be forewarned as they say.
I'm just curious as to where your from and age, only i've been chatting to JMAC and he's from Indiana
all the best and thank you very much for all your sugestions, sometimes guys likeyourself think of something where we may overlook. thanks again

Hi Weather Spotter
Your only a baby then,
I have looked at the map on google and have a rough idea where you are, are you rural meaning not in the city,
I retired early last year so I could enjoy my retirement and was 60 in November last year. I'm electrician (retired) but still do a bit now and again. ( Google Maps )this is where I live, not the (A) carry on down the road till you see 2 silvery white cars on the drive thats us and my name is John.
Do you work ? if so what is it you do, how did you come up with name Weather Spotter. We were in the states in October, flew into New York and had a week traveling down to Boston I thought it was fantastic thank you for the communication and I hope you will keep in contact, I love talking to other people around the world. All the best
speak again soon
