Sure the Mirage looks very girlie in that color, it would be kinda odd to see a guy driving it.

At a certain point the Gurgel started to outsell the Thing in the Caribbean, in spite of having only 2 doors. There were canvas-top versions too.

I went past again, so here's the pic.
Not really an "eco" car though, unless you feather-foot it around in EV mode (which I'm sure no owners do).

Yesterday, a blue and white Chevy Volt. Today, a grey Honda Insight, and a green Lotus possibly a Tesla. I looked at the badge in the rear view mirror, but LOTUS and TESLA are to hard to differentiate when your driving by.

In spite of its sporty approach, the Lotus Elise actually has an efficient design.

I still have never driven one of these.
This is the 2nd gen gasser. We had the 1st generation 0.8L diesels in Canada... and I haven't driven one of those, either.
Fairly rare around here (this one's in a used car lot). I can think of two that are owned locally (both 1st gen).

I've never driven one either, but my current car's previous owner sold because they'd bought a chrome yellow Smart car.

The design is a timeless classic. This one's got 50's style 'crotch-cooler' vents and a cute little 10-liter gas can. I just obtained a low-poly 3D model of a Kubelwagen, so now I can design wheel spats and boattails for one.
Edit: There's a bunch of variants here.

Yes, I remember that. But the Gurgel has a fiberglass body.

Spotted this Citroën Méhari when I went to Uruguay early this month.
This one was made in Uruguay at the Nordex factory, which currently assembles Kia compact trucks and Geely cars.
This Opel Corsa GSi is from my hometown. In spite of the sporty approach of the GSi, the aerodynamic enhancements are noticeable.
And on a sidenote, it also has a tow hitch...

Spotted this Isuzu Trooper II on Mothers' Day when I was going back home after the lunch.
Too bad it actually seems to be fitted with the V6, in spite of that hood scoop...
