a gallon premium here in Finland is now about 7.10 dollars.

Looks like US gas prices, which had been climbing for a couple of weeks, peaked just before the weekend:

In June I drove 1,407 miles on 19 gallons of gas . . . so somebody must be using more than their fair share!
