Leaving Alabama to drive to South Carolina. Thunder storms. Should be fun. Really wish I could get better mpg at interstate speeds. Light city driving and sub 60 mph driving still Mets me in the 70s for mpg

66 mpg thru the Atlanta metro with light rain and cross wind. Average speed 70 mph. Corridor effect is pretty nice and giving the big boost sure with heavy but fast flowing traffic.

It’s the wind patterns. They are circular

Also put electrical tape around edges of wheel skirts. After putting in rivnuts, they pushed the skirts out just slightly, which allowed air to go in very narrow openings and create a whistling sound. Was very annoying wind noise. Im assuming it was creating some type of drag too and that could be why I was getting bad mpg. No idea how much it effects things

It is common knowledge that a sailplane that you hear whistle wont win any contests against quiet planes.
