I don't know how brokerages work in Europe but I imagine you'd have access to ETFs traded on American exchanges such as USO and UCO? Your minimum buy in would be like 20 dollars, not thousands.
It is plain gambling, but you are also gambling every time you fill your gas tank hoping you paid a good price, with 70 dollars.

bargon price E10 moose piss gas is under or at $3.00
WA side of the state line is around 2.75/2.85 for bargain price 3.00/3.20 name brand.
on the OR side of the line is its name brand only $2.95/3.00
the one place within an hour of me that sells E85 is $3.55
sales is "really" low, i don't think they have added fuel to the tank for many months...
they may even do away with the pump..sales are so low..
and E0 same place in WA $3.29
main location to get E0 OR or WA for about an hour or so radius.
as its legal to pump it in a road going auto in WA but not in OR.
other then that one staton and less then 5 mom and pop places, all pumps are E10 in the area.
0.40 Cents is my brake even point on E10/E0 as far as cost per mile.
so comparing to name brand its cost effective.
oh yea.....
110 race gas with low lead is about $8.00 a gal
its banned from road use..even though the pump is in WA

Never tried running on moose piss, how's it go?
Most stations around here averaging about $2.75, you can get below $2.50 if you buy a lot of groceries and slide the card.

The difficult part is convincing the moose to cooperate.

ive had so many issues with the E10 in are stand buy little engines, for fire use, and truck engines that use next to no fuel each year, that ive come to call it that.
went to E0 with stable addeve, and its just like using gas 15 years ago no issues at all.
i think its largely do to the climate im in, its really wet being a coast range...lots of condensation to mess up the ethnol

Paid £1.19 a LITRE over here for unleaded.
That said it has come down 6 or 7p a litre recently

I filled up on Saturday, $2.599 gallons before fifty-cent discount. I do not have any idea how I spent five hundred dollars at that grocery store, it is less than $200 for November. I wanted to wait until I was on fumes to fill up, but I only saved about five dollars, and I would have lost money had I run out of gas. However, I topped off 0.687 gallons, to the filler neck.
Phoenixgasprices.com shows gas at several places at $2.44, but none of them are near me, and it shows the cheapest one in my neighborhood being $2.55. However, I drove to Mom's for Thanksgiving, and gas up here is around three dollars! I had better be able to drive down on the same tank!
Dad left several gas cans in the garage, so I will be taking one home.
