Here are some pictures. I just ran out of time to see if it was working. It got too darn dark, and my workbench is the driveway. haha:

Darn! Out of time! And notice that my stupid idiotic oscilloscope isn't working too. Makes me mad. I need that thing!

AC Controller project name ???

Updating the Wiki I ran into this question.

We need a new name for Paul's new AC Controller, since "Cougar" is the project name for the DC Controller.

Paul suggested "Stinky Diaper" ?

DC Controller - Cougar
AC Controller - ???

any other suggestions out there

I would stick with the Big Cat Family.

My vote is for Leopard.

Leopard sounds good, they're pretty small so that leaves room for increased power . Although you could start with something smaller like Bobcat....

Macintosh already took Leopard (and after that, Snow Leopard.)

I vote for CODE NAME: PUMA.

Also, I think that Open ReVolt is a great "official" brand name that we can promote and actually get out into the greater EV world.

We could have the Open ReVolt DC Controller, Open ReVolt AC Drive, Open ReVolt Battery Chargers.........

Hey Ben,

Mac already took PUMA too. It was version 10.1

They also too Cheetah, Jaguar, Panther, and Tiger.

They all sound cool. But to keep in the series of Cougar, it will be a mac os. lol

:P There's also a brand of shoes called PUMA. Fairly certain they took it before mac...

There's always Catamount, I don't think apples used that one yet--heck--without an encyclopedia I don't think I would have ever herd it.

Maybe some sort of pun on the 3 Phase AC nature of the device tho? I dunno.
