One of my encoders is 1 inch inside diameter, the other is 0.75 inch. I guess they won't help you.

Hi Paul,
I guess it's not EXACTLY 1 inch ... it measures 25 mm on my calipers, not 25.4 mm
The label on the encoder:
HOHNER 1-905-563-4924
P/N.IN88-ALCS-L7Z2-1024
P/N.0136 MS
S/N.R12089425.3 06/98
MADE IN CANADA PATENTED
The link here shows the specs
240408 - Series IN85 hollow shaft encoder up to 16 mm
280710 - Series PZ incremental hollow shaft encoder up to 115 mm
Neither spec sheet fits well. The second one shows the pinout.
1024 pulses per revolution. 5 - 24V DC input.
I've tested it up to about 2900 rpm. The output is stable, but my encoder card won't read anything faster than 50 KHz.
PM me your shipping address.

You basically are doing the equivalent of giving me a free $200. They are charging me $100 to turn down the motor post and cut a new keyway. grr... It will be done friday.

I just want to make sure that 25 mm will work for you. It would be depressing to ship it to you and have it NOT QUITE FIT.
25.4 mm is equivalent to 1 inch ... and if they are machining the shaft, you would want it to fit WELL when it's done.

haha, ya, I just checked it. 25.39 mm. lol. I tried to call them early this morning and it was already done, but I thought they may have made it a hair small. Nope! It's probably not a good idea for me to try to sand it down the last little bit. Maybe I should just order one. Thanks for checking and offering it!!

I think I"m good to go. The motor is officially here and the motor post is now a good size. $134. friggen ripoff. Now I just need to reassemble it. Man those things are simple. Absolutely no moving parts except for the bearings. Thanks thingstodo!

Great news! Congratulations on your progress with this, Paul
Is the board/driver you're testing the same one shown with BOM and Schematics in the Wiki? Or have you done some mods since the last update?
Thanks a bunch,
E*clipse

Hi. Just thinking if I could use this controller for windmill with asynchronous motor for charging batteries with BMS of course? There is Regen and may be some software modification? Good job done!
