Well, all I can say is: I'm going to have a shower. I don't want to be smelly when I start recording the next YouTube video...

Didn't use the toilet TPS. I decided it was too much work (always!) to make the throttle cable work with it. The motor was turning just a hair when I first powered it up. I had to adjust it so that it was at zero. My multimeter must be busted because it read zero ohms. Hmmmm, now I wonder about all the voltage readings I took......

Holy cow! You need to change the name to "Paul's how TO convert a Metro"

You can't teach that, it's all instinct!!!!! The first time I stepped on the gas, the stupid emergency brake was on, and I thought something horrible happened. Was it fun the first time you hit the gas and it actually started moving? Man I loved that! Then you stop at a stop sign, and it's like the car is totally dead?!

Yeah, stop signs always send a chill down my spine, like "uh oh, what's wrong? Nothing's working!" LOL. And on test drive number 2, it left me stranded! LOL! I walked back and my wife got the "tow Geo" to come get it. Turns out I was using one of the kids' toys to connect S2 to A1 or whatever those connections are. It was all burned up and melted! LOL! Electric cars are fun!!!! Tomorrow morning I'm going to ask the girls if they want to take the electric car to school, but before we do they have to agree that if it breaks down, they have to walk the rest of the way and not complain!

See, now I wanted to use pre-1982 pennies for that connection, but the toy was just handy and the girls didn't want to clean it up off the floor- sorta kill two birds with one stone kind of thing. I'm still thinking of finding some way to use pennies though....

Just a thought, here, but how about saving the pennies for better components?

I jest.
