Degrees aren't the golden ticket they used to be because half of kids these days are getting those golden tickets (and they are as ignorant as ever).

Ignorant because the Frankfurt School Marxists infiltrated the educational system. And worse yet, college profs like Eric Clanton are braining people with bicycle locks on the street.
Let's see we've name-checked JCP, Joe Rogan, Dave Rubin. I think (as an anarcho-libertarian) that left/center/right spectrum could be represented by Sargon of Akkaad, Tm Pool, and Black Pigeon Speaks, respectively. That's about my Overton Window for diversity of opinion.

That's basically what I was driving at by my unqualified comment. University is where diversity of thought goes to die these days. If you want to understand things exactly like others and learn the same things as millions of others, sign up for undergrad classes.
Stupid ideas shouldn't be tolerated, they should be fought with more sophisticated ideas. More sophisticated and/or differing ideas shouldn't be classified as hate speech and banned.
I thought my community college experience was mostly a joke 10+ years ago, but I imagine it's even worse today. My last philosophy professor culminated everything with Marxism as the pinnacle of modern thought. Rather than submit my final paper, I should have done nothing and then demanded that the effort of the class be distributed evenly among the students. Equality of outcome!

L.P.N. is one year, R.N. is two, B.S.N is four, and M.S.N. is too much work for most nurses.
Again, the difference between a Bachelor's of Sciences and one of Arts is a job.

I stockpiled several thousand in my checking account while I paid my bills with my credit card, which has 0% interest until February. I never signed up for another checking account.
Teachers (and my supervisor) said the smart thing to do was to sign up to have your pay redistributed over twelve months. If you brought home $2,000 a month and put $250 a paycheck into an account that yields 5%, after nine months you would earn $78.69. If you put $1,000 into that checking account that earned 5% and lived off credit cards with a 0% introductory rate you would earn $314.76, but I quit my job two months before school got out, so in theory I passed up on $186.70 on "free" money.
I wish I asked my new boss how he thought I could I could have 30 - 35 clients. I was hired five weeks ago and in theory I have a whole 3 - 5 clients. The SLP that does the evaluations lives in the Phoenix area and drives out when I have five. They had three for me immediately, but did not find anyone else for a month. Boss decided to send the SLP to evaluate the three, but then they found two more, although I have not been able to find out if she evaluated all five, only three, or none.
I keep working on projects. I am amazed that I keep finding more to do around the house.
I think I will repaint Mom's house soon.
Has anyone mentioned the largest theft ever? At least $400 Million worth of imaginary money:

To err is human, to really screw up takes a computer.

$400 million? Ha!

Germany’s biggest bank said an “operational error” led to the accidental collateral payment of €28 billion ($35 billion) to an exchange it does business with. The incident occurred in late March, sources told CNN Money.
It’s not clear how much money Deutsche Bank intended to pay, but the transferred sum is $5 billion more than Deutsche Bank’s entire market value.
The bank said it was moving the money as collateral to its account at Eurex, a major international exchange focused on European derivatives. Investors are sometimes required to post more collateral as security for repayment.
“The error was identified within a matter of minutes, and then rectified.

It was inevitable: post an off-topic thread with "bitcoin" somewhere in it, and spammers would show up to post links.

Bitcoin uses more electricity than the country of Ireland
More than twice as much needed to power Doc Brown's Delorean. Ethereum uses more electricity than the total yearly energy consumption of countries like Iceland, Jordan, and Cuba. "Grist estimated that at current trends Bitcoin would cost as much energy as the whole world uses now in only two years." They talk about making mining more energy efficient, but does not mention that people might then do more mining. ecomodder.com/forum/newreply.php?do=postreply&t=35647
