Hello!

As you can see, I'm new around here. My 96 celica's best so far is just over 42mpg. So I'm kinda hooked now!

I just got 25.84 on this last tank for the caravan; We didn't fill up at the same GETGO, Though, So there might be a discrepancy but it's a nice thing that I did manage this. I had the tires set at about 50 and I upped the highway speed to 65 maximum.

I was going to just Subscribe to this thread, but since I just had a great tank, I might as well post it.

Last tank on the Insight came in at just over 81 MPG.

I'm very new to all of this. Just logged my first fill up since getting into exploding with my civic a week ago. My model is rated for 28 city buy I was able to get almost 39 on the first go, all city! It's completely stock with a gutted trunk. Even the tire pressures are stock. I'm getting hooked...

Hi all, what a great forum. I've been lurking for a while and this is my first post.

I drive a 4 year old Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI estate. The car is totally stock including running normal tyre pressures. On a long journey using hypermiling techniques it's usual to be able to get a FE trip figure in the late 70s.

However earlier this summer on a trip of about 100 miles I achieved my best ever figure of 91.5mpg as measured by the on board computer.

This result was achieved using p&g on every downhill opportunity with a cruise speed of between 45-55mph, depending on road conditions. I know the route and it was a particularly warm day but even so this result completely astounded me. The finish elevation was actually higher than the start elevation. I don't recall what direction the wind was blowing from but it wasn't very windy.

The car is unlikely to better this ever again without some mods
