my fault, i thought you meant USA gallon

72 MPG(UK) = 60 MPG(USA) = 25,5 km/l

Nice fuel consumption you got there

Hey Mod, how about an update. Are the warmer days helping FE? Any aeromods yet?

I was looking at the 1.4d genI 106 before I bought the polo D. I'd be a little concerned by the foam from the tank, worse cash you've got a water-in leak causing a bit of immulsification... just bleed the fuel filter to confirm.

As for Bio, My materan his GenI on SVO without probs for about 1000miles before he sold it dunno if it would have any long term issues.

I think our American cousins could do with some of these small, long geared, euro hatches!!

If they took the TDCI Fiesta over there instead of the average 1.6 petrol, or if Toyota imported the D4-D Yaris with the rest of the range, who knows what might take off.

Mind you not all of them were high geared - I had a Metro (Rover not Geo) Diesel for a day - 18mph/1000 in top, 1.5D - same engine as yours. It would hit the governor in top on a particular downhill stretch of the M6 near Lancaster. Not fun.

Congrats on the figures BTW - very impressive for an IDI old stylee Diesel

EDIT : Of course Toyota can't bring in the D4-D models - that would destroy the reasoning behind the Prius... *(runs and hides)

I thought the Aygo was produced with PSA's 1.4HDi diesel (not Toyota's D-4D), like its twins Citroën C1 and Peugeot 107.

...for the 6 months and 3 they actually sold It seems Toyota buyers just didn't want the Diesel and I think even Peugeot don't sell them with Diesel anymore, just Citroen with the C1.
