From how it increases I'd say around 105-7 but not too concerned about it anymore. Any work just means more money. The rear doors are heavy, around 15kg I would say without the glass and winder motors. Will see my mot guy about making fake doors

Also on the wheel note carbon versions of mine are only 2kg lighter. Prius wheel were made light for toyota. However I might look into milled ones, they don't need to be as strong as stock ones. I've also looked into adjustable suspension for motorway but it's too heavy

Out the mold. Lots to do. It's not as strong as I'd like so will put on another layer on the back and put on mounting stuff

The x y axis was superb but twists. I did some off axis layers but not enough. solid now. Also I wasn't sure the original was designed in conjunction with crumple zones

Also to someone mentioned trying out stuff as a newbie. If I had a second start order lots of 300g glass fibre and polyester resin and make things around the home, get the feel of mixes, cure times, wetting out and corner/flat panel strenths. It will help you get the lightest designs, more brackets and shapes.

I wasted 20m of carbon and epoxy to begin with. Finding your own preferences and the best way to achieve what you want and building your confidence

The bonnets 1 1/2 inches longer. Some changes to aerodynamics but not big changes. Will need filling and sanding.... ...

Fuel/Petrol

Nathan hope all is well

I am curious what grade petrol/gasoline do you currently use in your Prius and is pure unleaded petrol /gasoline and ethanol free.

The first one was lumpy and 3kg, too heavy. Carbon went on the cardboard but I've since made a way to use paper

And it got sprayed..although I used casting resin watered down with brake cleaner as a lacquer so it probably weighs 600g too much

Wont scratch and uv proof

I wish I were brave enough to work with CF of FG. I tried once, it kicked my butt, and I gave up. Usually what I do when I'm not instantly decent at something.

I tried to take a mould of a kitchen sink for a concrete countertop project, but I must have used too much catalyst so it firmed up way before I could lay it, let alone smooth out the bubbles.

A lightened Prius could actually be fun to drive.
