Hi folks, hope all are having a great weekend. I was planning lots of stuff but the replacement crapmobile was costing an extra £65 a week in fuel and tax so I scrapped lots of ideas until next year, along with the nissan..

I have got a few jobs done, the left rear door replacement is now smooth but it looks a bit slab sided so next year I will make a seam along the middle or something. New cameras without the lines. I think with bigger tyres the weight is still 8kg down so something.

One problem was the kevlar battery case was not airtight, and with only the triangle warning light to go on took some figuring. It's now got all new foam on it, finally starts up with no warning lights. Also respray, the bonnet and bumper will get final coats, the main too soft still to colour sand. Ready for vehicle test next week and kevlar equipment racks. Hopefully get time off next month to finish the paint...

The size, depth ratio, orientation and coverage of the dimples was designed to be most efficient at 45mph, my average speed. It's very quiet. I will design some tuned sound absorbent lightweight skins for other parts of the car but not until next year
