Checking out the CRX on Monday. If I buy that it'll be quick aero, kill switch, MPGuino, hopefully some better tires and/or lighter wheels. Slam it and align it. And just drive the thing. If it's reliable, and it should be, it'll become my year-round daily.

(Arcosine- I don't have the time, money, space or energy to take on a project like that. It'd need an engine swap to beat the Probe's mileage)

The one I'm checking out?!? How do you know? It has a passenger mirror, etc.

No rear or interior shots so it's hard to tell.

Swear to god, if you buy this out from under me...

It shouldn't have a rear wiper if the hatch is stock. But some may be retro fitted. Get the vin # and run it to see if its an HF. Also the gearing would be obvious by what it turns the engine at top gear. Some people like to sell a CRX as an HF when it might not be.

I really wanted to buy one. Spent 8 months combing craigslist across the eastern seaboard. Couldn't find a decent body, unmolested engine gearbox swap. When it was decent it was molested. I really like the stock blue color too.

Jussayin', I need a car.

So, is it an HF or not? There is a comparison thread on a Honda forum mentioning different width B pillar trim... but I don't know which it is.

You cant tell looking at the body. Even if it has an HF badge and HF vin #, it could have an si gearbox or engine swapped in. I went to a crx forum with pictures of an engine bay and they told me if the engine was stock. I don't remember what rpm they told me 5th gear would hold at speed. Something about wheel rotations to ... don't remember.
