The pedevision should be a fixture in EVERY home........... A sofa with pedals. Can you see the kids fighting over someone not doing their share ;-) Each person would have their own energy monitor and if you didn't do your share......... you wouldn't get the remote ;-)............. I remember the generators we had that ran against the wheel on a bicycle to run lights in the good old days.......... They increased the work load considerably..........
Metro- Have you done any enhancements/modifications with this project in the last few years since the video you posted?
My GF has an extra bike she has been trying to sell, I might just "borrow" it and do this project. I wonder if I can modify it so that I can just throw any bike on there and with a quick snap it's in or out.

Nope - I actually didn't use it beyond that winter I made it.
It was mostly a quick project for fun & learning. I pedaled it for exercise and for kicks: to power my laptop to watch the occasional YouTube video or something.
Once spring came and I resumed using that bike outside, that was it!
