winter noodling
So winter's basically here now. No more mucking around outside with the Civic.
My heated workspace/garage... A.K.A. "The Shack" ...
... currently has a funny (and large) inward-opening door on the opposite side that restricts the length of vehicle I can get in.
I measured it last night, and the Civic will fit! Just over a foot to spare with room to swing the big door.
Once inside with the door closed, I'll have lots of room to play around...
OK, probably not THAT much room.

An 8th Gen Civic with a boattail? That will be a sight to see.

Once you overlay the template, there's no going back!

Put a hinge in the middle of the door so it can fold over into itself.

No surprise: that's been on the to-do list for several years.
But leaving it the way it is keeps my desire for buying land yachts in check.

Once you've seen the template overlay, you can't un-see the template overlay!

Any chance you can just unhinge the shack door when it needs to come out again?
See, nothing to keep you from building a 6 ft boat tail
Errr... What are you driving in the meantime through the snow and cold? Blackfly?

Off topic here, but that is a really artistic shot of your barn.
