kach22i is a well respected member of this forum. Check out his posts and the number of thanks he has recieved and then look at your own.
Most aero kits are not designed for lower CD, just "looks" that are percieved by the owners to be an improvement.
The name calling will earn you nothing but more people not trying to be helpful. That will eliminate a lot of truly astounding knowledge and experience that would cost a fortune otherwise.

So he can just talk to me the way he pleases and it's fine? Then when I call him as I saw it I'm suddenly the bad guy? That makes no sense whatsoever... I posted the pic of the stang trying to describe what it was I was looking for, I even said in my OP that I was looking for a "low profile wing like this".
I apologize if he misunderstood, but it gives him NO RIGHT to talk to me like that. I don't care who he is, or 'how helpful' he has been. Doesn't give him the right to walk on people when he pleases. If that's how the eco-community treats it's new members, I want no part of it.

So far this is what I have read. You want mileage, you want a body kit, you want a paint job. People have taken the time to respond to your posts and offer suggestions. Maybe what does not make much sense is the fact that I don't see much as far as body kits for Camrys since they are typically cars that old guys like me drive around for comfort and reasonable economy.
Your car is a jewel according to your description. 50k miles a year is going to eat any car up quickly, but the components should last a long time since most of that mileage is probably highway type.
Save a good bit of cash by driving in ways that can significantly reduce your fuel costs. Personally aero kitting and painting a car that you're going to put 100k miles on in 24 months seems counter productive, probably to most members here.
Why not just start banking your fuel savings and the cash you didn't lay out for mods that are only cosmetic and start searching for another car to replace this one.

The owner, moderators, and members have a certain expectation about civility.
There's no advantage to the use of certain language.
It's extremely disrespectful and alienating.
None of us have advanced degrees in interpersonal communications but I do feel that most comments are made in the spirit of constructive criticism.

I agreed with your position, that the post was rude. But common language is looked down upon here, as others have mentioned- and I personally like that standard. Your position I agree with, but your message was executed in a way that took away from it.
I will also mention I agree with the point that your goals are not exactly in line with the common goal of this site. It's okay to be different, but one shouldn't expect a huge following for being outside of the goal. You did mention you just didn't want to LOSE mileage, you didn't care for a gain. It's no big deal, it's just that some experienced users may not want to get involved.
Personally, I think it's a huge waste. If it was a brand new car, or slightly used, in an area where it could last a while, and it was insured- sure, but personally, I wouldn't want to put so much money into it. But that's up to you, most people here will only invest in something for a pay off, even if it is slight (I have a $700 aluminum drive shaft in my Insight right now to save ~15 lbs lol).
I hope you stay involved with the pursuit for improved efficiency, but learn from this experience- it's okay to disagree, but the method can be worse than the issue at hand.
I think you're both wrong

I agree. You guys have made some good points, I'm just going to stick with cheaper, MPG boosting mods and save up for a different car that I can do 'looks' to later.
On the other subject, yes I do feel bad for using such language now. I have no excuses and I do apologize to any members that were offended, especially Kachi.
With that being said, would a kammback work on my model of car? I only ever see it used with hachback cars, so I'm not sure it works on a sedan. I also got my gauges installed yesterday, and I think the grill block is going to have to come off, in city driving I'm seeing ~225-230F on my coolant temps, which if I remember correctly reading on this forum, is way to high. The vacuum gauge confuses me though, I guess I will just have to learn it.

Kammback
I'm inclined to say yes,but I'm gonna put up some images for you to look at.
Your LE was probably optimized by Toyota and may already be at it's sweet-spot for backlight angle, trunk height, trunk length, and C-pillar design.
With the Dodge Daytona, you'll see that as the void under the 'Template' is filled in,the drag shows a downward trend generally.
With the VW Golf, you also see that the drag is lowest when the roofline is closest to the 'Template.'
Finally, you can see how the Mercedes-Benz,already near the 'Template',reaches lower drag as more and more length (boat-tailing) is added.
Kamm use a profile very close to the '
Template' and a comparison of the Camry to it might give you some ideas.
Here's the tables:
