• Did rising gas prices have anything to do with your decision? Where there any other influences?
I have always been interested in getting good mileage. The 02 Infiniti Q45 has a 2.76 rear ratio which helps keep the rpms low when on the freeway. THe car also has a low wieght for its class (3801lbs). And the ecm and tcm adjust to your driving patterns.
It was the perfect 4 door luxury road car to achieve better mpg.
• Have you made any other changes based to increase your fuel efficiency?
Driving smarter is the major change
• Did you get the parts for the modification on eBay Motors? Why?
I have part numerous parts (new & used)for the Q45 on ebay because of the protections provided to the buyer
• Did you enjoy the experience of purchasing on eBay Motors? How long have you been a customer?
sometimes the search process doesnot weed out enough stuff. But all in all it is enjoyable. 6-7 yrs.

1. A name is a valuable tool/dangerous weapon to some people on the internet. Perhaps some other time.

2. Freightliner technician, 25 years experience as a mechanic

3. Fixed the previous owners "repairs",
full upper grill block,
partial lower grill block,
PS belt removed,
aluminum belly pan front to back except wheel wells,
engine fan switch,
cool air intake blocked-warm air only,
smooth hubcaps,
MPGuino(no VSS),
rear wheel kilts,
tapered fairings behind rear wheels(in process),
alternator field kill switch,
injector/fuel pump kill switch,
removed AC condenser,
165/65/r14 Potenza RE92(Low Rolling Resistance) tires installed,
boat tail,
5th gear swap from .89 to .75,
removed rear seat and window(weight).

4. I thought my car should get better mileage than it did. I was right.

5. Plan trips ahead, consolidate errands, DWL(Drive With Load),
P&G(Pulse and Glide), predict stop lights, avoid stops, stay alert of other drivers and how they will effect my driving, find the most efficient route for daily commute, keep the car tuned up and the
tires aired up, among others I may have forgotten.

6. I have bought some parts from eBay Motors, mostly for the
convenience and savings.

7. I have enjoyed using eBay since '08.

Good luck with your survey.
