Just look at those massive drums, with a mechanical linkage.

Kids these days would call this a donk:

Two-wheel brakes should be enough for anybody, just like 640K.

That truck looks quite cartoon-ish.

International Harvester invented the pickup truck. They were called high-wheelers, back when paved roads were a novelty.

The wheels are big but the hood seems small?

Paging cRiPpLe_rOoStEr --

I get the gist; what do you find for details? It looks like a Local Motors Rally Fighter clone.

I won't hold my breath for that. It's another attempt to re-create the Beetle, but now with a much more complex engine and even 4WD option. Instead of trying to label something like that as a "people's car", it might eventually have a reasonable perspective in a more specialized segment, such as tourism in the Nordeste coastline as a viable replacement for the Volkswagen-based buggies for instance. Had a turbodiesel engine been on the plans, it could even have a reasonable perspective to also be a good option for the military.

So what does it have? I see a lot of daylight underneath. Is it mid-engined, like the AutoWagon?

Rumors claim it will have 1.0L naturally-aspirated and turbocharged engines available, and a naturally-aspirated 1.5L too. Most likely relying on outsourcing from China.

I still don't see where it goes. Maybe it's like some side-by-side UTVs I've seen where the engine is between the seats in an armrest!

It's supposed to have a transverse front-mounted engine, unlike the side-by-side UTVs. But honestly, sometimes it would make more sense to allow registering UTVs as road-legal vehicles here, just like it used to happen in Uruguay for instance.
