Golf has better aerodynamics:
But they share the problem of a short wheelbase/wide track at high speed.

It wasn't noticeable at 140, however could be a GTI aspect: lower and stiffer therefore much more responsive to smaller inputs

Not sure to which extent, but the front clip of this black Besta seems to be slightly better aerodynamically-wise than the white one.

But... The white Besta has a closed grille, while the black one's is open.
