Saab 92 : 1947 | Cartype
Quote:
Saab 92 was an automobile from Saab. The design was very aerodynamic for its time, and the cW value (drag coefficient) was 0.30 (the same as a Porsche 996 and better than the Ferrari F40).

1993-1997 AE101 Corolla
Originally from this Japanese site
AFAIK the significant change from the JDM car to the USDM car is longer bumpers.
In the second one I layered it with a full image of a corolla and the template.

91 Caprice
Early development, but since it was based on the sedan the front end should be the same.
Page nine of this interesting read: http://autosofinterest.com/2014/11/1...rolet-caprice/

The full-size station wagon model that was also done in Chevrolet #2 Studio. We had to roll the plan view of the rear glass in toward the center of the car for aero. The car had so much space that utility was not much of a problem.

Regarding the 1976-1990 Caprice vs. the 1992-1996 model
Quote:
The aerodynamic drag on the old car was something like 0.485 [Cd]; the new car ended up at 0.325. (The Coefficient of Drag multiplied by the Area, in front view, is the true aerodynamic performance value; the CDA.) With a slightly smaller frontal area the resultant improvement in fuel economy was dramatic

4:55 is wind tunnel testing of the 1st gen insight which sweeps across the sides and top with a smoke trail.

Surface sensitivity for drag reduction
(blue is inwards for less drag in this one)
Of particular note is the surface under the side view mirrors. The images recommend a divot beneath the stalk.
