I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.

Chrysler 200/Airflow Wind Tunnel

Just looked at this.
$1,200,000 in tunnel time for the 200.
They briefly show a 1937 Airflow in the same tunnel.

The Airflow had as much screen time as the 200. Counting the time it spent as a backdrop for the talent, and the 200's few seconds on the road.

I looks like the CFD is selected for low Reynolds number and no turbulent boundary layer.Wish SWIFT could expand on their program.

Yeah, for the "most extensive research and testing programme in the industry" they sure are light on details.

(And if that extensive research has led the RV they show, it couldn't have been very extensive, that's for sure.)
